Stir Crazy Keeps South Florida Warm No Matter What the Weather: Critically-acclaimed casual Asian restaurant makes Pembroke Pines home to its 12th location nationwide, bringing with it 100 news jobs

This February, South Florida will be a little warmer than usual due to the piping hot food from the new Stir Crazy!  This award-winning, full service casual dining restaurant specializes in Asian inspired cuisine and is opening its doors for the first time in Broward County.  On Thursday, February 21 beginning at 11 a.m., guests will enjoy a celebration of Sumo-wrestler proportions at Stir Crazy, located in  the new Shops of Pembroke Gardens, 14571 SW 5th St. at the SE corner of I-75 and Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL.  Guests will love the new interior and exterior design of the 6,500 square foot restaurant – which has an expanded open wok kitchen, full-service bar and outdoor patio seating. 

 

 

Everyone is invited to stop by to sample some of what makes people nationwide crazy about Stir Crazy – the food!  The morning will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony in which Stir Crazy employees and executives will slice open the ribbon with a cleaver before leading guests inside for a ceremonial “first firing of the woks.” The fun continues into dinner when from 6 – 8 p.m. guests will enjoy performances by Taiko Drummers and Dragon Dancers in celebration of the opening day.  

 

The new Pembroke Pines Stir Crazy will add to the economic growth of the area by creating 100 new jobs.  It as the the distinction of being Stir Crazy’s 12th restaurant nationwide and its 2nd in South Florida – joining its sister restaurant in Palm Beach County, located in the Town Center in Boca Raton.   This is the third new Stir Crazy restaurant opening – within a 4-month period – under its new ownership by the Walnut Group, demonstrating the company’s re-birth and aggressive growth strategy to become a well-recognized national chain.
